See With Me

[bl]I[/bl]n the quiet, I’ve been remembering the Jesus I witnessed in Africa. The God that suddenly got bigger. I’m recalling images that were new to me, that reflected a more truthful God. See with me as I share these vibrant, living, truthful images that forever changed my understanding of the God I serve.

A God who embraces and empowers women.

A God who raises up leaders.

A Jesus who redefines family.

A God who hears our cries. Our grumbles. Our grieving. Our wailing. And he cares. And he responds.

A God who creates an environment of grace in a foreign land for a family that said yes.

It’s only through grace that we are able to see God differently. To witness a living Jesus, active in the world.
